Mothering Sunday, also known as Mother's Day, presents an annual challenge for sons and daughters all over the country. You want to express your love but you are hoping to avoid the typical and predictable Mother's Day gift ideas: potted plants, supermarket cards and pub lunches.

We recommend trial flights are booked in advance, allowing a personalised gift voucher to be produced and sent out to you to arrive before Mothering Sunday. Special Mother's Day gift messages can also be added to the flight voucher, making it extra special.
Please ensure attendees wear warm and practical clothes (and shoes!) for the trial flight(s). Those not flying are welcome to visit the launch point and watch the flying operations first-hand.
We suggest that you contact the club office before leaving home on the big day to confirm that we are flying. Rain, high winds and poor visibility can restrict our activities.
Finally, please remember to bring your camera and/or video recorder if you want a keepsake of your mother's flight - though mugs, t-shirts and other gifts will also be available for sale on the day itself.

Our gift voucher packages will provide the experience of a lifetime. All the following will include a thorough safety briefing before the trial flight or flights. The lucky lady will have the opportunity to handle the controls under the tutelage of the instructor, or to just enjoy the view.
Take a single experience flight with our highly experienced instructors. The Glider will be towed to a height of 2000 feet and these flights can be taken either midweek or at weekends. - £97.00

Each of the above trial flights can be taken at weekends throughout the year, and on weekdays during our summer season from April to September.
