Vintage Glider Club Rally: May 23 - 31 2009

Cambridge Gliding Centre is hosting the 2009 Vintage Glider Club National Rally.

A warm welcome is extended to all VGC members with wooden or interesting gliders and their families and friends.

The club will be providing all the usual facilities, camping, bunkhouse accommodation, on site catering, showers, toilets, and most importantly, excellent launching facilities. Prior booking is essential for camping and Bunkhouse accommodation.

The club has a one hundred acre site with three long and flat runways. For launching we have two Supacat winches, two tugs, and will also have a slower tug for aero towing slower gliders available all week. Our three long flat runways enable us to launch in any wind direction.
