Open Day - 9th May 2010
The best way to get a feel for what Cambridge Gliding Centre is all about is to come and visit us on our Open Day. The open day will give you the chance to find out more about the type of flying and social life you can expect at Cambridge Gliding Centre.

Find out about gliding at our open day!
What to expect
At an open day you will have the opportunity to discuss areas of interest, meet current members and staff, tour the gliding airfield and facilities, and gather information on all aspects of gliders and gliding.
You will be able to book trial flying lessons and courses for yourself or your loved ones, and generally get a feel for the club.
We will try to fly as many people as we can during the open day. Booking will be on the day itself and managed on a first-come, first-fly basis.
However, due to the high demand we typically experience during an open day, not to mention the unpredictable British weather, we cannot promise that everyone will manage to fly on the day itself. We will do our upmost, but if this is not possible, we will gladly reschedule the booked flight to another day.
Enrolment
Our 2010 open day is being held on:
-
Sunday, 9th May - from 10am till dusk.
No booking necessary, just turn up on the day itself!
We recommend all attendees wear warm and practical clothes (and sensible shoes!) for the open day. Sunglasses and a shaded hat can be useful too, especially on a hot day.
Finally, please remember to bring your camera and/or video recorder if you want a keepsake of the open day - though mugs, t-shirts and other gifts will also be available for sale on the day itself.
We're looking forward to seeing you at Cambridge Gliding Centre's Open Day!
