Pilots must respect the local airspace boundaries between Gransden Lodge, Little Gransden, and Bourn airfields.
Little Gransden Airfield
See map for limits of the Glider Exclusion Zone.
Aerotow combinations climbing out of Gransden Lodge may transit the Zone through two small corner sectors.
Non radio aircraft from Gransden Lodge must always remain clear of the aerobatic box.
CGC aircraft may fly within the aerobatic box whilst maintaining a listening watch on 131.275 MHz. However aerobatic aircraft will give a
2 minute warning of using it - then all CGC aircraft must vacate this area.
For more detailed information please read the Letter of Agreement with the operator of Little Gransden Airfield.
Bourn Airfield
See map for limits of the Aerodrome Traffic Zone.
Traffic operating out of Bourn Airfield will do a circuit to the east of the aerodrome when Gransden Lodge is active, but glider pilots should beware of aircraft letting down into the circuit on the west side. Circuit height is normally 1,200 ft.
